Our vacation home is centrally located for sight seeing and winery tours, treks through pristine forest trails, or a day at one of our local spas. Skiing at Mt Washington is only 30 minutes away and there are sixteen golf courses within an hours drive from our vacation rental. Tofino and Ucluelet, BC – 2.5 hours west of Qualicum Breeze Resort
Tofino and Ucluelet are located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island and are home to Long Beach and the West Coast Trail. Enjoy the ocean, forests, hiking, storm watching and whale migration.
Nanaimo, BC – 45 minutes south of Qualicum Breeze Resort
Nanaimo is where the BC ferry links to Vancouver and it is also the home of the International Bathtub Race. There is great shopping and golf in this coastal BC city.
Victoria, BC – 2 hours south of Qualicum Breeze Resort
The beautiful city of Victoria is where the ferry links to Vancouver, Gulf Islands, and Port Angeles. The “Flower Capital of Canada”, shoppers delight with the varying specialty shops. With a reverence for the past, Victoria boasts many fine museums and art galleries.

Horne Lake, BC – 30 minutes west of Qualicum Breeze Resort
Horne Lake Park presents a wide variety of activities both above and below ground. There are hiking trails, cave spelunking, and horseback riding.
Campbell River, BC – 1 hour north of Qualicum Breeze Resort
Campbell River is historically known as the “Salmon Capital of the World”. You will also enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, whale watching, Grizzly Bear tours and of course fishing.
Coombs, BC – 20 minutes west of Qualicum Breeze Resort
The Coombs market is well known for the family of goats which graze on its grass roof. Visit Butterfly World or the exotic birds at Emerald Forest. Nearby is the old growth forest of Cathedral Grove. Picnic at Qualicum Falls or Englishman River Falls.
MacMillan Park – Cathedral Grove – 40 minutes west of Qualicum Breeze Resort
This wondrous display of 800 year old trees has been undergoing the restoration of its trails since a major wind storm damaged several sections of the park.
Hornby Island – 45 minutes east by car and ferry from Qualicum Breeze Resort
